Chip Jasmin

"Throughout the concert, Chip demonstrated great versatility in his musicinmanship. Every instrument he picked up (he picked up quite a few) helped shape and transform a song. Drawing from his many years of performing in a variety of venues and his extensive knowledge of traditional music, Chip had a great ability to tie various tunes together for the audience and retain a flow to the evening. It was a great musical event thanks to the leadership of Chip Jasmin and his fellow musicians: Cove Jasmin, Bill LaCroix, Clem Small and Pam Small."

Mike Sweet, Missoula Folklore Society
25th Anniversary Concert

"The Dutton / Brady School had Chip Jasmin as our guest yesterday. He worked with grades K-12 throughout the day and into the evening quite successfully. It is rare that you find a presenter that is good with all grade levels. All the students and staff enjoyed Mr. Jasmin. He is a talented musician and storyteller."

"As a music teacher, I was very impressed with the quality and variety in Chip's presentations. He was excellent with every group of students and was very good at adjusting his material to fit students of all ages. His firm but gentle manner allowed him to engage every child. The kids were treated to an abundance of wonderful songs, stories and dances as well as Chip's expert playing on guitar, fiddle and button accordion. His material came from a variety of sources and cultres and reflected Chip's genuine respect and appreciation for the world we live in."
